Denise Lee Richards was born on February 17, 1972 in Downer's Grove, Illinois. Elder of 2 daughters born to Irv and Joni Richards. Her parents moved to San Diego, California, while she was afreshman in high school. She graduated in 1989 from El Camino High in Oceanside, California and shortly thereafter she was signed by a modeling agency, she traveled worldwide as the makeup girl for Bonne Bell cosmetics. She moved to Los Angeles to focus on her modeling career, seeking the same fame and fortune as the likes of Cindy Crawford.
Denise Richards like nearly every other model had aspirations to become famous, she wanted to act in Movies and become a celebrity, as a model, she worked regularly in New York and Tokyo, she quit modeling only 2 years later to pursue work as an actress. she began her acting career on television's Doogie Howser M.D, Saved By the Bell, “Married…with Children” and “Beverly Hills, 90210 but the role that lead her to the bigtime movies was playing the daughter of a CBS executive on “Seinfeld,”. She had some roles in small budget movies, including the campy Tammy, Loaded Weapon 1, And The T-Rex as well as a short-stint on Melrose Place.
Her next big role came in the sexual thriller movie Wild Things, (Unrated Version available on dvd), beside heavyweights, Kevin Bacon, Neve Campbell and Matt Dillon. The steamy threesome scene in the Hollywood movie is perhaps the most famous sex scene in the last twenty years. She had to appear scantily clad and naked in different parts in this movie, as well as a love scene with her co-star Neve Campbell. Sam Lombardo is a well-respected Florida high school guidance councelor who gets his life turned upside down when two students, a manipulative rich girl Kelly Van Ryan and her trailer trash classmate Suzie Toller accuse him of rape. The cop on the case Ray Duquette investigates the allegations. But not everything is what it appears to be and he dives into an elaborate and devious web of greed and betrayal to find the truth. This is a movie that is a must see for thriller enthusiasts.
